🔸️ "Perfect Life" belongs only to dedicated disciples! 🔸️
Through the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus taught His disciples the incomparable truths that make perfect life possible. Those truths that blossomed through the mouth of Jesus Christ belong to all who follow Jesus in the New Testament today!
During this time of the New Covenant, all who claim to be "ministering" should look at Lord Jesus! Yes, as far as Jesus concern, a ministry that did not make disciples was not a gospel ministry. We see this truth in the opening chapter of the Sermon on the Mount. The last two verses of Matthew chapter 4, which preceding the Chapters of the Sermon on the Mount, states that He "healed many people and preached the gospel to them" (Matthew 4: 23-25). Thus, Jesus began the evangelistic ministry rightly but did not preach repentance when He saw the "great multitudes" who followed Him in Matthew 5:1. Instead, He ascended on the mountain to preach them to become His disciples! There were not people in multitude on that mountain .... Only those who were longing desire to become His disciples were sitting around him! (Matt. 5: 1,2). These are the people who feel the value of these priceless teachings!! Are you one of them .....?
Have you repented for your sins, have you come to Jesus and confessed all your sins, washed away with His precious blood, and been born again in the kingdom of God? (John 1:12). Have you received water baptism and the anointing of the Holy One in obedience to the Gospel? (Acts 2:38) .... However, are you not a disciple of Jesus still? Now, sit back and think whether you can follow Him all your life! (Luke 14: 25-33). What ... have you decided to become a disciple of Jesus? That's wonderful! On that mountain, you are now seated with the disciples who surrounded Jesus then!! All His teachings which brings the Perfect Life now belongs to you!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father! We totally dedicating ourselves to accept Lord Jesus as our Master and to become His disciples! Please lead us into Perfect Life! In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
