🔸️ We need to participate in the prayers of the Holy people! 🔸️
In Revelation 5:8 we read, the Elders each held a harp and a golden bowl. That golden bowl was filled with incense. What is this incense? Prayers of God's holy people! What did the 24 Elders, who had more authority than the angels, brought before God? They brought the prayers of the God's holy people! Do you know, all the prayers of God's holy people who had prayed and have been praying for 2020 years come into this golden bowl? This bowl is going to be filled one day. Then the bowls of incense, which are the prayers of the God's holy people, will be offered before God.
Listen, do you know what is the main prayer of the holy people which will thus be filled in the golden bowl? That prayer is, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven..." All that is the prayer of the holy people is 'your kingdom be established on Earth, just as your kingdom is in heaven'! Their longing desire is "God, redeem this Earth quickly"! Many holy people prayed this kind of prayer with great burden... and still they keep praying today. Jesus told us to pray this prayer! How many people praying this prayer nowadays?
This golden bowl is equivalent to pouring water into a vessel. Will the bowl filled up as soon as we pour in it? No.. Yet, as we continue pouring, the vessel will certainly be filled up. This is how, you and I, whenever we pray earnestly for His kingdom to come, we are the ones who are pouring this golden cup to fill. We now know the significance of this prayer... Which prayer? Is it the prayer for my back pain, for my promotion and for worldly things like these?
Above all, is the Kingdom of God primarily dominating us? The prayer of longing for the kingdom of God to be established on Earth is the most important!
Prayer:
Our Father! Give us the longing for Your holy name and the kingdom of Your righteousness to come soon in this wicked world! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
