🔸️ The "Practical" witness Life presents by the Holy Spirit is needed! 🔸️

'Watchman Nee' a servant of God, was referring to two Christian peasants who lived in China. Their garden was in the middle of an upland. Every day morning, these two peasants would go up the upland and water their garden. Beneath their garden in the mountains, there was someone else's garden! One day night, the peasant who was beneath, made large opening in the canal of these two Christian peasants and went away. Early in the morning, all the water of the Christian peasants who had watered their garden, went through the passage in the canal and into the lower garden! For seven consecutive nights, the peasant who was at the lower garden, was doing like this!

These two Christian peasants had no idea what to do! Finally, the peasants themselves decided that they would show Christ's love to the underlying farmer! Accordingly, they got up early in the next morning and watered firstly to the farmer's garden which was beneath! 'Then' they watered their garden! Thus, by putting the Cross between them and the peasantry, they have died for their own rights. After two or three days, the non-Christian peasant came to apologize to these Christian brothers and said humbly, "If Christianity is your normal course of action, I would like to know that Christianity."

Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples, they would be strengthened and be witnesses to Him (Acts 1:8). Yes, the Holy Spirit must lead us day by day to the "Cross" in order to show the love of Christ in practical life!!

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father,

We seek the power of your Holy Spirit daily to live as a witness to You in our practical life! Please fill us to walk in the 'path of the Cross'! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
