🔸️ "The joy of a pure heart is true happiness!" 🔸️
It is even more special to be pure in heart than to be pure in thought. It is, the heart where there's place for God and not for anything else! Although many live a pure and prosperous life, they are still linked to idol worship with a few gifts or the ministries that God has given to them. They did not learn to dedicate the god-given Isaac back to God on the altar!
What do we want? - God along with some gifts? or even some ministry along with God? or the good opinions of men with God? Or perhaps our physical wellbeing along with God? Or God with some Isaac? Or is God alone is enough for us? No one who fails this test will be recognized! We say to the Lord, "Whom I have in heaven besides you? And I desire nothing on Earth but You."(Psalm 73:25). For God, only then we become worthy!
Each and every one of us has to climb this Moriah mountain, by dedicating to God everything we desired on the altar of God and being alone with God!
If we are happy when earnings rise or for promotion, if we are one whom has ears to hear ...We can hear God speaking to us, that our joy is in God and along in our earnings(or in promotion). Then we must “purify” our joy until we learn to rejoice in the Lord (alone). Why do many believers not be able to be "always" rejoiced? Because their happiness lies not only with God but also in God along with something else.
If our heart is pure... if there's place for only God... then our happiness will be pure!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, our happiness is keep on changing from time to time! 'Nothing' other than You, will become the source of our happiness! Please be gracious on us; In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
