"His Voice Today"

🔸️ Let us conform to the reign of Holy Spirit! 🔸️
First of all we should know that Holy Spirit is omnipotent and that He 'works in various ways.' When Jesus said this, "The wind blows where it pleases; you hear its sound but you do not know from where it comes and where it's going! So is the Holy Spirit" (John 3:8). Yes it's true that we cannot rule the air. We cannot change the speed at which it is blowing or change the direction in which it is blowing. And so is the Holy Spirit! However many believers today, think to bring the Holy Spirit to their control and according to their ways and means they can establish His work!!
While the second person of the Trinity (the Lord Jesus Christ) was on Earth, the Pharisees tried to tie him with their own meagre laws and traditions. But He refused to be locked up in their 'narrow room'! As the descendants of these Pharisees, those who are still in evangelical ministry today are trying to bring the third person of the Trinity (the Holy Spirit) under their control, according to their traditions and human knowledge. But the Holy Spirit always refuse to do according to the rules set by men!! Yes, He blows up himself where He wants. We can hear the noise of His work, but He will not comply with any of our restrictions or any of our diversion!!
We can never expect Him to do the same thing in other people's lives as He did for us! Similarly, we cannot expect Him to do the same thing as He did in the past! Yes, He is Omnipotent!
The best thing we can do is to turn our face in the direction of the wind and conform to where the wind wants to take us!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! The life we lived on our own is empty! We gladly surrender ourselves to the reign of the Holy Spirit who prevailing in us! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
