🔸️ Tears that shed during failure of sin have benefits! 🔸️
We will surely triumph over the sins for which we are suffering. Brother, if you say, "I cannot overcome sin and live", when you were defeated by unclean thoughts and went to bed, did you weep your pillow with tears of grief? There is no meaning in saying, "I still cannot overcome sin" without your suffering for this. The Holy Spirit will help those who are grieving over the failure of sin, to surround them like a stronghold and overcome the specific sin that strikes them.
Thus, those who are not satisfied with their external life, which got the good witness to men and mourning for the failures of their private life, which God alone sees, are having the true God's fear. Those who are grieving that the failure of their private life will be a dishonour to God, will have the sole purpose of glorifying the name of God in their lives.
Thus those who live with a passion for the glory of the name of God be in their personal life have grown little by little....They will be led to a higher position of grieving that the name of God is being desecrated in their land!
Jesus who glorified His Father in His private life, wept in Jerusalem for the name of God dishonoured! Those who grow up to be like Jesus will be grieved and will be praying with tears for the cause of blaspheming the name of God in their land. Anyway, their hearts will be longing so much like Jesus to see the name of God be glorified in their land! Many of us still do not rise to such a higher level today!!
Prayer:
Dear Father! Please forgive our negligence that we have not prayed like Jesus in our failure of sins! Be gracious for us to pray with tears and to overcome sin! In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
