🔸️ Need a life filled with Thanksgiving in all circumstances! 🔸️
Paul, who lived a contented life, said, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.(Philippians 4:11). Yes, such a satisfying life will definitely bring within everlasting happiness and peace!! In verses 4 and 7, Paul, who lived a contented life stated that he was satisfied with the happiness and peace it had provided.
Only those who have found such a satisfying life can be thankful for all the circumstances that God deals with! Only those who believe in the Almighty power of God and that God will do everything for their own goodness, will be self-satisfied with any situation! They will, like Habakkuk, give thanks to the Lord, even though they have no yield in their Field! Or, even if a few sheep die in their flock, they will thank the Lord! Or they will thank the Lord in the event of a greater economic loss and even more so in any such situation (Habakkuk 3: 17,18).
Ephesians 5: 18- 20 teaches us, only the heart that filled with Holy Spirit can overflows with praises to the Lord. The Apostle Paul was able to praise God wholeheartedly, even while his feet were tied up in prison (Acts 16:25). We see that Paul was “perfectly satisfied” even in that toughest situation and without blaming.
If a Christian is found with murmuring life, he is not having a spirit-filled life! As the Israelites murmured before God in the wilderness, they are still stagnant and unable to enter into the promised victorious life!!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! Please help us to learn the satisfying life, with thanksgiving under different circumstances! In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
