🔸️ Must have the gentle compassionate nature of forgiving others! 🔸️

We find the “unforgiving nature” in a hard heart. Such kind of people always remember the actions of someone who has done harm to them, with eyes that refuse to forgive them whenever they see them! This is a completely different quality of the spirit of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:4 beautifully sums up His character as "God is rich in mercy." Even though God is perfectly rich in many aspects, it is astonishing to us that God has been particularly exalted as "God is rich in mercy". Likewise, a true spiritual man is more rich in the divine nature of compassion than in the world treasures. The worldly treasures have no value in the Eternity! But the riches of mercy will be preciously priced in the Eternity!!

Jesus said that the merciful will receive mercy. In James 2:13, 14, "...judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.." Moreover, "What is the use of having faith and not giving garments and food to the man who is in need of them?" he said. These verses point out the two important areas of compassion. 1) Not doing judgement without mercy to those who did evil, but forgiving them, 2) Be merciful and help the needy.  

If a brother or sister who is lacking in the daily necessities of food and clothing and if we are not willing to give them what they need and say, "You handle your need," that is a cruel and ruthless nature (verse 15, 16). If we behave like this, at the time of a need, God will not provide for our needs! Because God cares about those who care about others' needs. Yes, the merciful one receives mercy from God.

 Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father! We hate the hard heart that can not forgive any one in this world! Be gracious upon us to show your tender compassion on those who are in need! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
