🔸️ Have the wisdom to save! 🔸️

What about saving money for the future? Shall a disciple of Jesus need to have bank saving account or a fixed deposit or any other form of property? The Lord Jesus said, "Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, and not on Earth" (Matt. 6:20)?!

The real question in the truth that Jesus said here is, "Which of your savings becomes 'your treasure at any moment'?" We can not give a clear answer to this question! Or we can't certainly legislate "for others" with this question!!  

The Lord has placed on them the responsibility of determining 'anything' and 'when' becomes our treasure in this world!! One way to find out this is, to ask ourselves the question... "What am I often thinking about?"

If "money" comes as "your answer" to this question, then you can understand that "money has become your treasure". Conversely, if "the Lord and His ministry" come 'as your answer' ..... no matter how much Earthly possessions you have, you can be absolutely sure that "your treasure is stored up in heaven"!!

How to save for the future? The Bible tells us to "go and learn from the ant" (Prov. 6:6-11). It has no elder to say, "Save food for the rainy season!" The ant has the wisdom to do it on its own. But today, many believers don't have this wisdom! So, in case of unexpected huge expenses, these people go to others and beg for money and get into debt.

Had they been a little wary of their spending over the past one year and saved a little for the future, wouldn’t they have had the miserable situation of borrowing like this?! So, it is definitely good to save as possible as you can!!

Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father! Thank you for teaching us to save wisely in our hearts so that "our treasure" does not turn into money! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
