🔸️ 'Spirit-filled' Life with Godly fear! 🔸️

Many who appeared to be 'outwardly' very holy are not "like Christ." Do you know what sets apart this difference? “Spirit of Godly fear” clearly shows us this difference. Paul said in his testimony, "I live with a clear conscience before God" (Acts 24:16). But in this verse he mentioned his life with clear conscience according to the scriptures that written in the Law. That is why, when the Holy One came and stayed with him, he no longer wanted the righteousness he had received according to the scriptures.... somehow, he longed to know Jesus intimately and to attain the righteousness that comes through faith in Christ! (Phil. 3: 7-9).

It is the privilege that the Holy Spirit points out the areas that are "not like Christ" even in our efforts to do good!!

You can win by standing in front of a man and through your arguing that "what you said is correct". Such people are those who fail to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who condemns them for being "not like Christ" in their inward attitudes! Those who fail to listen to "what God wanted to speak to us" beyond the commandments written in the scriptures, may realize that they have not progressed towards the perfection of holiness!!

We know the truth that God will judge all of us in the last day judgment. But how will He accomplish that? As said in 1Cor.4:5 "He will judge the thoughts (intentions of our hearts), which are hidden in darkness!" Do you really believe this verse? If so, our whole "purpose of life" will turn into pleasing God alone! Yes, how people seeing 'our outward appearance or not' is never an issue for us!! The incomparable blessed life of such holiness is available to anyone who lives in the "Spirit of fearing the Lord"!!

Prayer:

Our Loving Father! Pour out Your Holy Spirit in us to live like Christ inwardly, without being satisfied with outward life! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
