🔸️ God, who cares our physical needs! 🔸️
In today's Christian world, the doctrine of the physical body is taught on two opposite fronts. One congregation teaches monastic morality and says, "You can't be holy unless you hate every pleasure of the flesh and submit this body aside." But we must realize the truth that the body alone is not the cause of sin.
See, Satan doesn't have a body. Yet he is fully filled with sin. Simultaneously, Lord Jesus though He had a flesh, never sinned! The doctrine of monastic morality still teaches that even the "marital relationship" is a sin! But we must not forget that God created sexual desire within the humans and said it was "good" (Gen. 1:31). God created the desire for food, the desire for relaxation and the desire for sex to fit into the human body, all of which he saw as 'good'.
We do not need to be ashamed of any of the above options. All we have to be very cautious about is that we are not supposed to fulfill any of the options by any means that God has forbidden. That's it!!
Another paradoxical teaching that is completely different from the aforesaid atheistic-moral teaching by some other Christian group is that "God wants us to become rich." As a result, the body and its pleasures are worshiped like idols!
But the teaching of the Lord Jesus is not a 'monastic-moral' teaching that stands on a cliff!! Or it is not the teaching of the other side of the cliff that makes us drown with too much emphasis on worldly things and body!! On the contrary, His teachings categorize us as caring for the essential needs of our body and 'thereby' pave the way for worshiping God with all our heart!!

Our Heavenly Father! Thank you for your love for fulfilling our spiritual needs as well as our physical needs! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
