🔸️ There is no need to afraid of reporting our sins honestly! 🔸️
The Bible says that we are justified by the blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:9). While God purifying us, He also makes us righteous. The word "we are justified" means, "I have never sinned in my life and now I am like a perfect righteous." Isn’t this great miracle!
Let's imagine that our sins are written on a blackboard, one by one. Now all the innumerable traces of sin written on that blackboard have been wiped away with a damp cloth! Now what do you see on that blackboard? Nothing!! It now looks like nothing has ever been written on that board. This is how the blood of Jesus washes and cleanses us completely. Further, God promises, "I will remember their sins no more" (Heb 8:12)!! Thus "I am truly forgiven". You see, how great a relief it is in my heart to feel that 'I do not have to confess my sins to God again and again'!
Praying in particular, "forgive us our sins" is the supreme prayer! But today many people pray 'superficially' 'in general', saying, "Lord, I might have had committed many sins ...." That is, they pray as if they are unaware of the sin they have committed! Because you have created the impression in your prayers that "you might have not sinned at all"! Whenever you come to God, the true prayer to say in particular is "Lord, I have sinned. I have bitterness in my heart against that brother. The purpose of the good I have done for him is selfishness.... I have done these things for my own glory." Do not be afraid to pray sincerely, without hiding anything from God!
Prayer:
Our Father! As the blood of Jesus Christ forgives our sins and "justifies us," give us the grace to confess our sins without any fear; In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
