🔸️ We should forgive others wholeheartedly! 🔸️

Note the Lord's Prayer that says, "Forgive us as we forgive" (Matthew 6:12). Yes, God accurately measures how much we have forgiven others. Because the Lord Jesus taught that we are being measured according to what we measured. While saying so, Jesus said, "Give good things to others and then God will give good things to you. It will be as though God is putting things in a basket for you. He will give you a full amount, pressed down in the basket, which he will shake so that he can put more in, and it will spill over the sides! Remember that the way you act towards others will be the way that God will act towards you!”(Luke 6:38). That is, if you have used a small spoon to give to others, the God who answers your prayers will use the same small spoon for you! Expecting great things you prayed to God. But, God took the small spoon and gave you a little! Do you know why? You just kept that small spoon and gave it to others. The larger the spoon you use, the more God will give you with the big spoon. To God this law is unchangeable! God, who serves us, activates according to this.

Lord Jesus said in Matthew 5:7, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." The more you show mercy to others, the more God will have mercy on you on the Judgment day. James 2:13 sternly warns, "for he who does not show mercy will receive a judgment without mercy!"

So, if you have forgiven others very little like a miser, God will forgive you in the same way. If you would have treated someone who hurted you, with loving forgiveness, God would have forgiven you in the same way! Yes, God will treat you in the same way you treated others!!

Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father! Just as You have forgiven us wholeheartedly, let us forgive those who hurted us; pour on us your mercy to gain Your favour abundantly! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
