🔸️ Our heart must be ignited with love! 🔸️

The Lord wants our hearts always be ignited! This heat must always be in burning condition in order to love Him and to love other believers. As the Old Testament tells us, "The fire on the altar must always be burning, and it must never go out" 

(Leviticus 6:13), the Lord always expects this type of quality in us.

In these verses we could see the basic qualification which God expects from a true disciple of Jesus. Everything below this qualification is "lower quality". When the thorn bush burns with the Spirit of the Lord, no insect or any germ could certainly live alive in it. Likewise, when our hearts are ignited and burnt by the fire of the Spirit, the unloving attitudes in that heart could never continue to live on!

The "attitude of our love" is the best way to test whether we are hot or cold or lukewarm. “Having heat” denotes the fervent love for others! "Being cold" means having a bitter and unforgivable nature on others. "Being lukewarm" is the difficult situation of neither having bitterness.... nor having love for others!!

If a believer says, "I have nothing in my heart about anyone," he is the one who is lukewarm. Did Jesus say, "By this all will know that you are my disciples, when you have nothing in your hearts"? Not at all! It is not a sign of finding Jesus' disciples, if there is no evil attitude towards one another (John 13:35).

Instead, there must be something definite in our hearts. Yes, we must have the heartfelt love in our hearts for all our believers!

Prayer:

Our Loving Heavenly Father! In our attitude of love, give us the grace to perpetuate the warmth of love for everyone! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
