🔸️ Must give the primary thing to God willingly! 🔸️

Once a time, a farmer said to his wife, "Our home cow has begotten two cubs! One of them is a white calf, and another is a brown one. Once they grow, we will offer any one of them to God". Immediately his wife asked, "which calf you are going to give to the Lord, whether the brown calf or the white calf?" The farmer replied, "Once the cubs grow, we will decide." Similarly, two calves have grown well and fatty.

One day the farmer returned to his home with a sad face. He said to his wife, "A sad news .... 'The Lord's Brown Calf' is dead!!" Immediately his wife widened her eyes and asked with surprise, "while the fact is that we didn't decide on the Lord's calf, how do you know that the dead brown calf is the Lord's calf?". Immediately the farmer said "Ah! don't you know? I had already thought in my mind that I should give the brown calf to the Lord. Now exactly that calf is dead this morning!". He answered boldly. 

This is how many believers are today. For them, as always, the dead calf is ... the calf of the Lord! In this way, they remain in a spiritual poverty for the rest of their lives "because they are not rich with God" (Luke 12:21).

What is the status of your life today? Do you always have some excuses for not giving God the best gift? Your position, then, clearly shows where your heart is. Your heart will be where your primary treasure is! (Matthew 6:21).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father! Please be gracious upon us to give You the “first things” in our lives and to receive the treasure of heaven! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
