🔸️ Warriors of Cross! Progress ahead!! 🔸️
Just as a soldier, whose focus is on the enemy in war not gets entangled in civilian affairs, so also we must focus on destroying the "self" without getting caught up in the circumstances that befall us! But the fact is that many who have registered to serve in the Christian army today are stuck in a situation where they find themselves in trouble! They are not seen as "glorious" Christians, but as troubled Christians!
This warrior who has to enter “the sufferings of Christ” is catching up in the agony of circumstances!!
What they refer to as "many afflictions" with their mental agony is not the "afflictions of Christ" to which they ought to participate... but they are the "afflictions of circumstances"!! What they call the "Cross" is the crucifixion of "human beings" and "circumstances"! Are these the warriors of Christ? No, cowards who gets tired under the circumstances! Those bring disgrace, not praise, to their Captain who is the Lord of salvation!! Are they strengthened in God's grace? Not at all!
The hero of the true Christ will boast in the hope of the glory of God! (Romans 5: 4). He will consider it his privilege to participate more and more in the sufferings of Christ. He would put forward the persecutions and circumstances that he come across only before God and will keep on progressing vigorously carrying his Cross to share in the glory!!
Prayer:
Our Loving Heavenly Father! Please be gracious upon us to be a good warrior of Christ; not to be caught up in the circumstances; help us to bear the cross and to follow you with vigilance! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
