🔸️ Confess the sin with honesty and integrity! 🔸️

Many people today pray, "Father, forgive our sins." But first, these people do not realize that we cannot ask God to forgive our sins without confessing our sins to Him. Yes, at first we must be honest and report our sins to the Lord without hiding them up, one hundred percent. Hear the Word of God saying, "He who conceals his sins shall not prosper" (Proverbs 28:13). However, he who hides his sins may continue to pray, "Lord, forgive me, and forgive me." But, such a person will never be forgiven! Look at Proverbs 28:13, which goes on to say, "but the one who confesses and renounces the sins finds mercy."

Further, the Bible says, "If we confess our sins (we only ought to do this), He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (IJohn 1: 9).

Since the day Adam fell into sin, man has had the nature of 'hiding' them instead of confessing his sin. Do you know what was the first reaction that Adam and Eve responded to when they sinned? They immediately ran to God and said, "Oh! My God!! You told me not to do it, we did it!" Did they say? not at all! They turned away from the presence of God and tried to hide themselves. What great senseless and foolishness is this! Could this Adam and Eve hide behind a tree before the Almighty God?

We are always trying to justify ourselves by claiming that 'I am not responsible for the mistake'. Even if we are caught witnessed by others when we make a mistake, we tactfully say, "This situation has made me to do like this" and "This is all my weakness." What is happening now? It is unfortunate that 'we will never receive God's forgiveness'!!

Prayer:

Our loving Father! No matter whatever may be our sin, without doubting the majesty of your forgiveness, give us the grace to confess our sins without 'concealing'; be gracious on us to receive your forgiveness; In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
