🔸️ The life of the incomparable Cross! 🔸️
Just as "death" carries a man from this World to another place, "this Cross" takes a believer who has embraced the Cross, to the kingdom of Christ (Colossians 1:13).
He who has seen the kingdom of Christ will now begin to see this World in a new different perspective, wholly. He will now begin to see money, worldly goods and people in the light of the Cross, in the light of Eternity and in the light of the Kingdom of Christ. No longer would he see people as poor-rich or bigger-smaller or social disparities! Rather, he sees all of them as "souls" and only sees that "Christ died for them" (2 Corinthians 5:16).
For such a man, money and worldly possessions are no longer attractive as it used to be. The radiance of Eternity now rules over him. He always well aware that this World and all in it had already been subjected to fire by God and that all would one day pass away. So he would have known that he is living now only to do God's will and to lay up treasures in heaven (1 John 2:17; 1 Peter 4: 1-3).
As such, it is disheartening to see the children of God today, who like an unbeliever, lust after people and the things of the World with "worldly eyes". It is very firm to say that such a soul never knew the 'true meaning' of the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Loving Father! Give us the grace to lead us into Eternal superiority through the way of the Cross that you have shown us and to see this world 'trivial' as like you! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
